Welcome to 2022! We’ve got off to a bit of a rocky start, thanks to our friend Omicron, but we’re planning to return with a bang. As you know, due to safety concerns and the many illnesses among our team of volunteers, we had to cancel our beloved annual Christmas singalong, Yule Rock, as well as our last assembly of the year. To be on the safe side, we’ve decided to delay our first assembly of 2022 to 23 January. We hope that this will give everyone enough time to get well and feel confident about gathering in person again.
At our next assembly we’ll celebrate Sunday Assembly’s 9th birthday. What would you wear to a 9-year-old’s birthday party? Bring your party hats, colourful outfits, and beautiful singing voices so we can celebrate living better, helping often, and wondering more together.
We’re also going to learn about how to be more mindful in our celebrating habits. We’ve invited Laura Willoughby and Dru Jaeger, the co-founders of Club Soda, to tell us about the new alcohol-free movement that’s making waves around the world.
